About Us

We are a growing commercial general contractor specializing in office fit-outs, tenant improvements, renovations, and interior commercial construction. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects while maintaining strong relationships with our clients and subcontractors.

We are looking for an experienced Traveling Superintendent who can manage commercial projects while ensuring jobs stay on schedule, within budget, and meet our quality standards.

Position Summary

The Traveling Superintendent will oversee commercial office fit-out projects requiring regional travel. This individual will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, communicating with project managers and clients, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working in the field and managing from a distance. Hours for this role, Monday-Thursday 5am-2pm/ Friday, 5am-11am.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors on-site.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality expectations.
  • Conduct daily site visits and inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure proper execution.
  • Communicate daily with project managers, clients, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the schedule.
  • Perform punch list inspections and oversee project closeout.
  • Travel regional job sites as needed, including overnight travel.
  • Complete daily reports, progress updates, and photo documentation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commercial construction supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience managing commercial office fit-outs, tenant improvements, or interior renovations.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and sequencing.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable traveling throughout the region.
  • Own truck and tools needed
